This page states what the service does and what it does not guarantee.
What the service is
PriceTap is an information service that compares prices read from shops' public pages. PriceTap is not a seller, does not sell, does not take payment and is not a party to the sale. The purchase happens on the shop's own site and is governed by that shop's own terms.
Price disclosure
Prices are collected automatically from the shops' public sites and were verified at the time shown on the page. The price, the stock status and the delivery terms can be changed by the shop at any moment. Check the final price and availability on the shop's own site.
Limitation of liability
PriceTap does not guarantee the accuracy of a displayed price. The price is read automatically from the shop's site and the moment it was read is shown on the page. Checking the price at the shop before deciding to buy is the user's responsibility.
Coverage is partial
No price comparison site covers an entire market. We write "found in N shops" and never claim "every price in Azerbaijan". A shop that is not in our listing may well be cheaper.
Ranking and sponsorship
Offers are ordered by price only; payment does not affect the order and no shop's link is disabled for not paying. Sponsored placements are shown outside the list with an explicit label.
Merchant data
A shop's name, its price and its product link belong to that shop. What we collect and how the 48-hour opt-out works are set out on a separate page.
Personal data
No personal data is collected from unregistered visitors, IP addresses are not stored raw, and no third-party analytics is used. The full explanation is on the privacy page.
Changes to this text
If this text changes, the date at the top of the page is updated. We do not keep older versions on the site, so the date has to be read together with the text itself.
